The Netherlands Fotomuseum, the National Museum of Photography, is open during Museumnacht010. Discover photography in our renewed museum in the Santos warehouse.
During Museumnacht010 you can explore Rotterdam’s museum world at more than 30 locations. There are around 100 exhibitions, performances, workshops, tours and dance floors.

Cyanotype workshop
Can you make a photograph without a camera? Yes, you can.
Discover how cyanotype works and make a blue print on a canvas tote bag using images from the Gallery of Honour and the collection of the Nederlands Fotomuseum.
Personalise your bag with a candy wrapper, flowers or something you have in your pocket.

Pop-up photo studio with Flo Verhulst
Have your portrait taken in the pop-up studio by Flo Verhulst.

Guided tour for deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors
The Nederlands Fotomuseum takes part in the second edition of the special museum route by Accessible Museum, in collaboration with Museumnacht010.
An NGT–NL interpreter will be present to guide deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors through the museum.

Exhibitions in our renewed museum
We recently moved Nederlands Fotomuseum to Brede Hilledijk 95, and reopened in the renovated pakhuis Santos, a former coffee beans warehouse. During Museumnacht you can explore the opening exhibitions, the Gallery of Honour of Dutch Photography and parts of the depot.
Rotterdam in Focus: The City in Photographs 1843 – Now shows how photographers have captured the city since the nineteenth century.
Awakening in Blue: An Ode to Cyanotype brings together fifteen artists working with cyanotype, one of the oldest photographic techniques.
