From coffee warehouse to photography museum
Built in 1901-1902, the Santos warehouse began life as a warehouse for coffee shipped from the Brazilian port city of Santos. In 2000, it became a national landmark.
Santos was renovated by WDJARCHITECTEN, RENNER HAINKE WIRTH ZIRN ARCHITEKTEN and Burgy Bouwbedrijf. Our architects opted for a clear distinction between the historic structure and the contemporary extension.
